Yep, for a long time, now. If I remember correctly a holding company bought them both and merged them. I would assume they kept the lines separate.

Correct! Yes, Japan Victor Co. bought Kenwood... I'd guess 10-12 years ago.

Love my Kenwood (a nice one with 4) 5-volt pre outs)
I have 3 amps in my van and sub box, 12 speakers total

The storm looks like late tonight/early tomorrow according to the alert here...



Interestingly enough, Tooele has not had an alert issued. I'm hoping that stands. I don't want to clean up more trees.

Truth be told, although these guys are really strange hermit types, they don't make a bunch of noise and ruckus as a result. Much better than my house over in Magna (Salt Lake). We hooked him up with some old OBS that my FIL had used in chicken coops, LOL. Yes, it was splattered with chicken dingus on his side.
