Im running 7700 t-bars. Even before i installed my Readylift keys and front winch. Even with stock keys and cranking them the same amout the truck sat about .5 higher than with the stock bars.

More to the point, where is anybody going to buy F-150 torsion bars? They are currently all listed as NLA by FoMoCo, so chances are good your local dealer may be out of stock, and most of the big internet sellers like Tasca are also listing them as discontinued. In other words good luck finding any, and if you can, good luck getting them for less than double or triple the list price.

You know, doing a quick search for torsion bars here, this NLA issue seems to be a very LARGE elephant stumbling around in the 97-03 room that people here appear to be all too happy to ignore.... the prudent owner might want to look into this and stash away an extra set or two, before they turn completely Unobtanium...

i have another question...i have 16x8 wheels and 285/75/16 tires on them...can i fit 315/70/16 tires on the rims i have now or would i have to go to a larger width tire?

They should fit fine. I have 315 70 17 on ny fx4 wheels which are 7.5" wide if I remember right

They should fit fine. I have 315 70 17 on my fx4 wheels which are 7.5" wide if I remember right
