Lowering these trucks, words of caution!!

I did the IHC kit and I’m not a fan. Pops and creaks all the time, bent plates, crap generic ball joints and grease fittings that won’t take grease. I’m headed to the Ridetech kit it’s just irritating to drop 1500 and have issues and then drop over $3k on another kit.

That must've been the Ride Quality kit, eh? I'm glad to have my OEM LCAs back in. Hopefully these IHC camber-adjustable UCAs don't make any noise.

Ultimately I am glad that I went the most expensive route first. You really do get what you pay for these days.
After reading all of @UNBROKEN troubles, I thought there had to be a better way. There is, but it costs you money instead of all the time that he put he in (and some money).

The big thing is if you have the 6.5 foot bed and the supercrew. Very few kit manufacturers, including Ridetech, will tell you that it affects the overall height of their kit. Of all people, VAS actually did tell me that I would need to add a leaf in the rear, so I give them credit for that at least. Even with the AAL, my rear drop is about right on 5.5 inches at the 5.5 setting. My front drop is 3.5 with the preload at 1.5 inches. I wouldn't want any more preload.
However, there are no bleeps sweeps and creeps. Now that I got the alignment corrected the ride is great and with the rear bag setup, I can carry whatever I want and still look good doing it.
