The video shows park lights on, but the pic does indeed appear to show the amber edge light as the DRL. I would need to see it in person in the daylight to determine if I like it. I like the idea, I used Forscan to have my amber edge lights on my '17 be the DRLs, but you couldn't see them at all in the day so I went back to the low beam. The pic looks a bit brighter than the 15-17 amber lights would be, but still not bright enough to really be a good DRL in my opinion.

That's why the revised 2018 DRLs are much brighter, but they looked cheap due to each LED being visible. Now finally in 2021 they have this headlight design fine tuned, where the DRLs are properly diffused and bright enough to be used as DRLs.
