I'm looking for a cap for my '09 FX4 Crew Cab. I'm really impressed by the look of the Snugtop XTR and ARE Z. I'm also considering the Snugtop Rebel. Anyone out there get one of these recently. I'm in the SF Bay Area and looking for local dealers. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the ARE Z Series on my 2007 F150, and the Snugtop XTR Series on my 2011 XLT, Platinum, and current 2013 FX4. Both are very good toppers, but I definitely prefer the style and fit/finish of the Snugtop over the ARE. Not sure where the Snugtop dealers are in your area, but if can't find any you might want to call them to ask about their distributers in your area as some may be aftermarket shops versus pure topper dealers.

Beautiful truck! That topper looks great. Thanks for the pics. Can I ask you how much you paid for it. I've gotten two quotes so far. Both were around $3000 after taxes. Is that in the same ballpark or should I keep shopping around?

Thanks. That is really steep pricing. I paid $2190 after taxes and $100 coupon that I found online. That also included the electric interior light, fold down front sliding window, and headliner. I purchased from an authorized dealer so my pricing also included shipping.
I would definitely keep searching!

Hey Desert Dawg, I too am looking for a SnugTop XTR for my 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4. Did you purchase yours in the Albuquerque area, and if so, who was the dealer? I currently live in San Jose, CA, but I have a son who lives in Rowell, NM that we could easily drive to see AND pickup a camper top.
Thanks!
Randy
