Question vht nightshades question

i blacked out my tail lights and corner lenses with VHT nightshades. the corner lenses turned out perfect, but i got the tail lights just a little too dark for my comfort level. i mean they look great but im nervous someones gonna rear end me or not see my brake lights or something.

my question is, id rather not take it off and redo it, if it would help at all id like to just replace the bulb or something. is there a different kind of bulb thats bright enough to make a difference like an LED one or something?

thanks

if you cant find bulbs or anything brighter and need to take it off. Carb cleaner takes that stuff right off.

Why not get a line of fire just for added security?

Sh*t, that stuff is nowhere to be found here in Ga! I've looked at at least 10 different auto parts stores for it! I ended up using Parma's spray tint for models on my wife's Accord.
