The 36 gallon tank is probably my favorite addition when buying (it was a requirement when searching) the gas seems to last forever.
Not sure if he is still looking at doing the console to bench swap and if it would even be worth it due to distance and if it is even the right color but @btravis had a thread going seeing if it was possible and maybe looking to do it.
Just replaced the turn signal switch, my wipers seemed to work even when they’re not supposed to. Kind of like my toddler, tell her no, she gives an ornery look that says, “hold my sippy” and does it anyway. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😂

Replacement part number, $45 off Amazon
Mine did the same, luckily mine was covered under the warranty still. My automatic headlights stayed on and wouldn't turn off during the day and my wipers wouldn't stop running at low. Luckily its a cheap and easy fix.
Also got a new oven, but it has free delivery. Ours isn’t that old (came with the house) but the board apparently is dying and temp regulation is jacked up. Parts and labor cost (no one had the parts anyway) was nearly as much as a new one. We upgraded to convection and are going all electric (we had gas before).
I haven’t done anything to the truck since the console but I’m still very much enjoying it!
First time with the MX4 up... was a little nervous haha
Do the leather. Its one of my favorite mods. It transforms your driving experience. So much more comfy. Go katzkin. It will last longer and look better.

That’s the plan, hopefully a 2021 project! Did you install yourself or have it done professionally?
Did it myself. Its realy simple. Watch the videos on youtube. After the first one its a breeze.. just take your time.
I’ve watched a few, tempted to (next year) buy them off eBay and attempt it myself and save $800 or so. Or at least if I start with a back seat and give up, might save myself some money by stripping the seats (not the driver) and having the rest installed professionally.
But if I’m going to do it, I’m guessing it’ll have to be warm enough but not hot yet.
I have wondered if I were to ever start my own business, if I could get set up as a Katzkin dealer/installer. Part of this fantasy is moving back to where I grew up, so I’d be probably 2 hours from another dealer (KC, Des Moines, Omaha). I have not verified that, it’s just a hunch.
Installing Katzkins is easy, you can do it. It is just time consuming. Best trick is to cut the fabric from OEM seat cover to the runners and then slide the runners out of the OEM seat foam clips to preserve the imbedded clips. I removed my seats from the truck only because I installed carpet at the same time. I paid $425 for my set, so thats my net cost.
