My son has a 72” Husky chest. At first I was concerned that it was a store brand and not a better known name. He uses it a lot and it is a great roll away. He is totally happy with it.
The soft close doesn’t seem like much when the drawers are empty in the store, but once you load them full it makes a difference that they don’t slam to a stop and rearrange everything.
Like you said about in the kitchen. The silverware drawer carries a lot of weight and it is nice to have the soft close on it.

Good luck, there are a lot of choices out there.
Thats a good point about them slamming, but it felt like you had to almost jerk it for it to open, which messes up drawer organization as well.
At some point, I’m sure I’ll go back to Home Depot and look at the Husky again and maybe see if they have a Milwaukee.
Thank you everyone for these great points and suggestions!

You're not wrong about this, only it's just the top drawer for me. Stuff slides up, but it's also where I keep my lighter tools. The drawers with my heavier tools don't slide or not as noticeably. I have the table husky tool chest.
I've got the biggest Harbor Freight two chest box they offered and have been pleased with it. The built is just as good as the Craftsman or Kobalt series at a better price, but then again I don't work out of a box on a daily basis either.
Went out and took photos of my boxes, and some shots of the truck in the snow. Went to download onto 'puter and, CRAP, no SD card in the camera. Maybe tomorrow.

That would be the 56”, right? They make a 72” but the top chest was just released very recently.
If a HF box is good enough for you, then it ought to be plenty fine for me.
Just curious, can you fit anything in that very top section with the lid closed?
