I stopped by Harbor Freight after work tonight to check out the toolbox and check stock. The box does seem very nice but blue was not in stock.

I don’t know if it’s all HF stores or just that particular one, but all of St. Joe’s finest were there. It even smelled dirty. I’ve never been a big fan of going in there and today just about ruined it for me.

Might bite the bullet and spend $300 extra at Menards 🤷🏻‍♂️

The other night (screaming children) caused me to basically get up at 3:30am and not get back to sleep. Jumped on the Lowe’s app and was impressed that the Craftsman boxes were built in Sedalia, MO. But, they aren’t as deep and I might go look in person out of due diligence.

I check my two closest Home Depot’s, no Milwaukee boxes in stock to look at.

I'm a fan of huskys products, that matte black tool box is pretty badass. Next box I get will prolly be one of those. It would be funny hauling a black on black toolbox home on my chrome f150.

I looked at this a few weeks back. I really didn’t want black and not a fan of the black on black, but am kinda revisiting it as an option tonight in my head. It’s really bigger than I wanted (longer).

I'm not normally a fan either but I like the satin handles against the flat black drawers. I have a kobalt stainless toolbox and its a finger print magnetic.

Is that the one on clearance now? The reviews say the casters are horrible.

The husky or kobalt? My kolbalt casters are trash, the rubber is crumbling off the poly wheel. I only bought the lower half, can't find the upper half for it cause its discontinued. Wish I bought the upper half along with it.

The Kobalt - my Lowe’s shows both upper and lower in stock there but that’s exactly what the reviews said about the casters. Apparently trying to warranty them is a nightmare as well.

I have the older style kobalt one, I think its not as wide as the current one. I about bought the top half till I realized the dept was different.

I've been looking for a small rolling bottom half to mount my drill press to. I've been having a heck of a time trying to find anything in stock locally. HD, Lowes, Menards, Harbor Freight are all basically wiped out of small stuff. One of the HD employees even said "we are having trouble keeping tools and tool boxes in stock in the $100 to stimulus $600 range. We have some of the more expensive boxes at $800 and up".
