The fit should be good, but yeah, the weather beater version is not quite the same parallel as the Weather techs, you'd need Husky XAct fit for that - but glad they're feeling and working better for you.
They fit good enough, I’m not complaining. I imagine they’ll “break in” and fit a little better after a hot day in the sun.

I wouldn’t trade my kids for anything but the time I have for truck stuff (even cleaning), woodworking, shooting guns, etc just doesn’t exist anymore. Plus no one tells you how tired adult life is 😂

Oh man, i feel ya, i really do, it's all true!
The good news, and well i'm not sure if anyone told me this either (might have, just too tired to remember or register) is that you start slowly getting that precious time and sleep back as they get between 2 and 3 - then you do something stupid like add a second one..... So i'm in-between, but grabbing those moments as they appear - i can at least see that light at the end of the tunnel.

Our almost three year old sleeps pretty well… the 15mo has not lately. We added the second one sooner, they are exactly 18 months (and about 6 hours) apart. If we go for another, it’ll already be a bigger gap and we aren’t in any hurry for that.

I'll say this, there are only two of us, and whilst ours are further spread (just over two years) we're experiencing that we could not sanely handle a 3rd.

Default I actually did something!

First thing done in awhile to the truck, I think it looks great and definitely helps with sunlight/over bright headlights.

Edit to add another photo:

This makes it look much darker than it really is.

Tint?
What level did you choose and anything on the windscreen?

The sides were already done at 20%. Added 50% to the windshield plus a darker stripe on top.

The sunstrip really makes a huge difference, even when leaving the rest of the screen un-tinted.

I had it before, not as dark or as deep as it it now (it’s actually a thicker stripe than I want, wasn’t expecting it done that way)

This one goes all the way across the windshield (the first one didn’t cover the center) and is straight, which I prefer over the curved (like I had before)

This was a standard (legal) 5% brow i had added.
There is a little line near the top of the screen at the edges with some letters there, and it's about where the legal (here) brow can come down to, the template for cutting out the tint is even named by that line.
