this is what my 2013 FX4 Canadian cluster looks like

I also have the 8inch display and checked with my ford mechanic regarding the HD radio, he ran my VIN and it shows that it was NOT built with the required module for HD tuner

My Canadian '13 FX4 has Sirius XM. I have a 2 month free trial I can use, but my truck is going in for engine work so I won't have it for a couple of weeks so I'll activate it when I get it back. Buut Canadian trucks can have it.

Edit: just want to add I believe I tried entering my VIN in Sirius XM website and it didn't work, (from what I remember), but ESN of radio worked for me. Do you guys have a Sirius XM button on your display?

I had to give them my ESN also, the VIN comes back empty.
Also the Window sticker just says Sony Single CD/Sync so I don't think is is HD radio, Don't think I can tell the difference with as deaf as I am anyways

HD radio doesn't necessarily sound better, but it should give better reception. So, weaker stations will sound better. And there may be extra stations to find.

HD radio sounds WAY better..... if you lose HD signal it transitions back to regular FM and you can hear the difference.

That said.... my wife's 13 Flex has what appears to be the exact same touch screen radio as my 13 FX4, but the truck doesn't say anything about HD radio and the Flex does.... is this a hardware thing or a software thing in the radio?

My Mustang radio is HD, it is from the US, Canadian vehicles do not have it from what I have read.

How can you tell whether it's Canadian or not? I'm guessing it is because the line-x badge in the bed says Alberta, but the guy that traded the truck in about 6 hours prior to me buying it was from Portland Oregon, so who knows

Rong. My Canadian f150 has HD radio. Like others stated above you, I can tell when it goes in and out of HD, I also have options when I'm on one station. Like multiverse stations.

Mine is Canadian, bought in New Brunswick and then brought into the states, I was guessing you had a Canadian truck since you were posting in a thread that is about Canadian FX4's
