I can't answer your question specifically, but I'll share with you that adding 200-300lbs in the bed of the truck smooths out the ride "real nice". I've towed to and that's even better.

that just means your truck isn't programed to just throw in the hardware and have it work. you can still add it in without much effort as you would need to use a program like for scan to go turn on...
